RSF REFUSED ENTRY TO SILVERBRIDGE MEETING
Republican Sinn Féin protesters were refused entry to what was billed as a 'public meeting' at the Silverbridge Resource Centre in County Armagh on the evening of Tuesday, 22nd April.
Whilst the protest continued outside the venue, a member of a well-known South Armagh Provo family photographed those protesting in a blatant attempt at intimidation. Three carloads of RUC personnel also drove by in convoy in order to monitor the protest.
The meeting had been arranged in order to bolster support for the Stormont Agreement and the Assembly established by it. Republican Sinn Féin had intended to enter the meeting to voice their opposition to the Stormont Agreement and to calls for the Nationalist population to turn informers for the British Crown Forces. They also sought to point out that Republican prisoners were suffering as a result of the criminalisation policy willingly endorsed by the Provisionals.
A spokesman for the organisation added that such tactics would not prevent them from confronting the Provisionals and other agents of English rule in Ireland.

So much for the provos having a 'public meeting' this proves that these meetings are nothing more than a cheerleading exercise for the Belfast agreement fair play to all those who protested

Well the question is, if RSF went into a provo meeting to ask questions etc. Then why couldnt they go to the policing meetings organised through the country by Republicans?

It would seem RSF's reason for going to this meeting was to voice its opposition to Stormont and to the call on Nationalists to support the occupation forces. The organisation's position on discussing policing (re: the time of those meetings) was that there was nothing to discuss as far as I know.

But using that arguement, we all know RSFs position on stormont, occupation forces, provos etc. So there was no need to go to the Psf meeting.

but using that same argument Duff, there was even less reason to go to the broadfront meetings cause everyone knew RSFS position on policing, and it was not exactly in in direct opposition to the positions of other entities involved in those... in the case of the PSF organised meetings, not only would RSF's presence contibute something that those meetings lacked (Dissention) Thier input in these supposedly public meetings would have had the chance to reach a much different audience than the audience expected during the broadfront events. The point is moot though, because by public welcome, PSF actually meant, bobbly headed yes men welcome, those who can think independently will be barred entry.
But back to yor comment sir, Geeze Duffman...I swear you are impossible to please.

You know this is effing creepy. Why were they taking photos? After the bulwark comments and the urging for people to turn informer, i dont think these snapshots were meant for thier scrapbooks. These tactics are low even for PSF
