To learn of how Vieira de Mello was used as a pawn by the United States in Iraq, while he sincerely tried to help the Iraqi people, I highly recommend viewing the documentary "No End In Sight" : http://www.noendinsightmovie.com/
I had never heard of this man until this morning, until I watched No End In Sight. Today would have been his birthday.
May he rest in peace.
