Volunteers Lynagh & McKearney Remembered A large crowd gathered on the Monaghan/Tyrone Border on Sunday to Remember two Brave Irish Soldiers who left their mark on the Republican People of Monaghan and Tyrone in attendance were Republicans from Fermanagh Tyrone and Monaghan as well as family members of the dead Volunteers
it was said during the speaches that both Volunteers Died for Ireland united and not for the present admins of Brit rule in Ireland

RIP Loughgall Martyrs. Jim Lynagh and Padraig McKearney are two of my personal heroes for both their military and political strategies...I believe had they lived they would've prevented the Provie sell out and went on to lead us to the Republic.
But that unit was composed of dedicated and brave volunteers as a whole - and the Brigade as a whole suffered so much in those years. I have nothing but the utmost respect for these men.
